Seems to be kind of bored. Everybody's working during the weekdays. Weekends go out for movies and have some fun.
I mostly stay at home play games, watch talk shows, movies, dramas, and facebook. Once in awhile head out to the city walk around see if there is anything interesting.
I guess that's how it is once everyone starts to work? I guess i'll be doing the same thing over and over again until there's something on.
... is just plain annoying. Not just because of all the studying that you need to do and information overloading your brain, it is also the fact that looking at everyone chilling, having fun, enjoying. Okay you working people stop teasing or saying how much you miss school/uni life and all :P
HAVING EXAMS AT THE END OF THE EXAMINATION PERIOD IS NOT FUN AT ALL !!!!
ps: although you'll have more time studying, i bet you won't be able to study full time.
Basically just want to summarize up want i have been doing during the past few months.
August: Right after that movie world trip(yeah i know that picture have been there for ages haha), i've went to EkkA(The Exhibition), Whitewater World, Dream world and the river festival.
EkkA was basically a fun fair like thingy. Lots of snacks, games, rides.
Whitewater world... hmm.. basically a boring water theme park. Nothing much to play there. The only thing worth playing is the 'The Green Room' and the only thing worth trying is 'Super Tubes Hydro Coaster'
Dream world is an awesome place. Full of thrill rides, they market their them park with the theme 'Big 6 Thrill Rides'. The awesome one would be 'Giant Drop' as it is the world tallest vertical ride. Miss out the 'The Claw' as it is doing its maintenance. 'Wipeout' is another scary ride. It makes me feel like dropping out of the seat anytime and plunge to my death :/
River festival was an awesome day as well. 30 minutes of fireworks display and its much better than the Brisbane's New Year fireworks. Before sunset there is a range of fighter jets displays on that day.
September was pretty much only going for uni and doing assignments.
October: Did a short trip during mid semester break. Went to quite some places.
1st day, we went to Bribie Island, Caloundra, Maroochydore and Noosa. Nothing much to do there. Just explore the place and the bitches, eh, i mean the beaches around there.
2nd day, we went to Noosa again(when we reach Noosa on the 1st day it was kinda late already), Tin Can Bay and Rainbow Beach. Noosa was the usual beach. There was nothing really at Tin Can Bay(thought it should have some stuff to do as it was written quite big on google map). Rainbow Beach however was a really nice place. Recommended to everyone. We went to Gympie as well around 7 and that place was a pretty dead town. We excpected something from there but it pratically nothing.. maybe we went there late perhaps.
3rd day, went all the way to Coffs Harbour. It was really a long long drive. Bout 5 hours. But it was quite worth it. The place was nice. The wind that day was pretty strong. The seagulls were having a hard time moving forward haha. After that found a bar place to have dinner. Decent food at a good price. Then bout 8 something we went back home.
November: The month of the exam period. Was pretty nervous cause there's 1 subject seemed scary but when the results released, i was happy and glad. 2 pass and 2 credits, an improvement from the 1st semester. That concludes my Bachelor of Business studies and gonna wait for my graduation.
December: Basically a month of nothing better to do and slack only. It was summer and the weather is really hot. Hate it. I wonder how my friend can tahan studying in the summer as he took summer course. But he says lectures are much more interesting as the students wear less and less clothing hahaha. I was all eat, play, sleep routine all the way until Christmas eve.
That day we have a dinner night at Alex's place. On Christmas day, we thought of going out at night to have dinner at the casino. Guess what? the casino is closed until midnight !!! So we end up eating Hungry Jacks and took photos around the city until the casino reopens during midnight and went in to have some fun.
Around the christmas week as well, we suddenly end up having cyber nights playing Generals and CS. During New Year Eve, we have a dinner night at Alex's place as well. Then around 10, we walk from Land St all the way to the City to watch the fireworks. It was a disappoint 1 as the 15 minutes fireworks is not as good as the river festival. On the night of 1st January, went to the Brisbane International Airport and board the plane heading back to Malaysia.
On the 3rd of August 2008, Me, Eng Keong, Kok Fei, Ca Po, Ee Voon and William went to MovieWorld to play. So we rented a car and then started our journey at 9am. Around 10 to 10.15am we reached MovieWorld.
So reach there park the car, get our tickets and we head to the main gate. Here it is..
Once you went through the main gate, you will see the ever famous 'Superman Escape' ride right infront of your eyes.
So the 1st thing we do, of course is to ride the ever famous 'Superman Escape' ride. So we head towards the entrance of that ride.
So inside we wait in the queue for our turn. Since it's still quite early, the queue is short and we get to play early. Starting of the ride we pass through various chambers where the damage of the tremors are evident, including one where simulated floodwater is pouring in fast and another chamber where cars falling in from above ground are shown. At the end of the segment, the car stopped. Then "It's Superman!" can be heard, followed by Superman saying, "Don't worry folks, there's only one way out of this mess! heads back, I'll get you out of here. Fast. Superman fast." Then the next thing you know, you hear a sound 'boom' and u are INDEED being saved by Superman. It's moving SOOOOOOO fast that suddenly we ended up at the Big U thingy and then dropping 90 degrees! That adrenaline rush is AWESOME !! Here are videos i found in youtube for you all to see, 1 is the full coaster ride and 1 is a joker who illegally brought a camera in and record how the coaster move!
After that awesome ride, next we go to the Scooby Doo ride. This ride is basically for people who likes drifting man. The ride itself consist of fast turning and the exicting part is, it has 'belakang mari' concept man. Suddenly it moves from behind instead of that usual front movement coaster.
Next we went to the Wild West Falls. Not a bad ride. It has the 'belakang mari' concept as well but i hate it when it makes u wet in casual clothing :(
Ride after that we went for some chill out tao kei bumper car for fun. The bumper car not fun 1 cause when you step on the pedal it feels like the car no oomph cannot move very fast. Bang people also not hard. So we ended up playing like go kart, cut other people and trying to avoid banging ppl haha. After that we went for Shrek 4D.
Next we went for the lethal weapon ride, that ride was not fun at all, although it looks scary. The sit have spacious room around the head. When we are turning 360 degrees, our head will bang around the sit and make ya headache. Bastard! -Entrance to Lethal Weapon-
After that, we chill out a little and have our lunch at that 'Gotham City' Cafe. When we were eating halfway, the roadshow just begun, so we enjoyed our lunch while seeing the likes of Austin Power, Justice League Heroes, Catwoman, the Scooby Doo gang, Batman and his Batmobile and others pass by.
After that, we rest awhile and head for Batwing spaceshot. 1st time playing this kind of free fall machine, scare and excited as well. So i went up and play, quite scary but really fun. -us on Batwing- Here is a video of how the Batwing spaceshot works.
Right after that, we went to play everything again for the second time other than the Lethal Weapon and the Wild West Falls. At the end, we went for the Batride which is like the motion master in Genting Highlands. But this 1 looks awesome but it will makes you headache as well. Geez....
After that, it was almost 5pm, the park is closing, so we left having a smile in our face.
If you can't get enough of Citywok in South Park, just come right down under to Brisbane to check out Citywok. ;) -well cum to shitty wok-
Oh, and if you are feeling lonely tonight, you can go look for my good friend Rama, he is providing extra services looooool. -Sign him QUICK!-
Anyway, to those who are still studying, good luck in their studies, especially me. Those who just graduate, Suk Theng, Eng Keong and Betty especially, good luck in searching for jobs. To Suk Theng who unfortunately is down with 'Chikungunya virus' (基孔肯雅蚊症), take good care. To Zhong who is quite emo nowdays... i think? Cheer up abit la good pren.
